Our first picture together, which I snapped inside of the AT&T Center. For those of you who don't know, Garrett's only flaw is being a Dallas Mavericks fan. So this picture is also special to me because it represents one of the few times I was able to get him to a Spurs game.

 

Garrett and I met during our first semester of law school in 2014. After ending up in the same section (having all of our classes together) and a few exchanged Facebook messages later, he eventually asked for my number. He was trying to convince me to play in a co-ed flag football tournament ("Battle of the Rattle") that the law school put on. Let's just say Garrett was overly involved in student government and I was just trying to learn how to read a case. I kindly told him my brother would be home from A&M that weekend and I would most likely be hanging out with him. But Garrett was persistent and eventually I obliged. I ended up taking a ball to the face and Garrett drank all day. Safe to say nothing came from that interaction. A few weeks later, we both went to a friend's apartment for a Friendsgiving get together. The rest is history and now we get to create a lifetime of memories together! 

 

 We are so excited to start our marriage off celebrating with each of you! The group of people we have chosen to be a part of our day knows us, cares for us, pushes us, and loves us as much as we love them. Thank you all for being so incredibly supportive of our relationship and this new adventure we are about to embark on!
