*popular gem near the pearl (the "hippest" area in SA)

*top-notch burgers also located at the rim

*great bar spot located at the shops at la cantera--multiple TVs for football fans

*If you're going to splurge for dessert, whiskey cake is the obvious decision

*1604 location is less than a 10-min drive from both SA hotels & one of our fav places to indulge in some Italian

*best breakfast tacos (tortillas) in SA--even G agrees

(right near my old stompin' grounds, Churchill HS; well worth the 20 min drive from the hotel)
